It’s a perfect destination to stopover if you are taking an active short break holiday walking the coastal path enjoying the Dartmoor National Park or exploring by bike. It’s also a great place to use as a base while you take part in outdoor activities in Dartmoor from canoeing to walking and climbing. The activities around our Tavistock base will entertain inspire and challenge you – our location in the grounds of the Union Pub will mean there’s also a relaxing venue to enjoy a drink and chat about your day. The pub is also able to offer breakfast packed lunches and dinner. The self-contained hostel accommodation will include three separate bunk rooms sleeping up to 20 people a drying room toilet and shower facilities a secure cycle storage area and a ‘wash down’ area for cleaning muddy bikes. The Tavistock Bunkhouse has good quality hostel accommodation for outdoor enthusiasts with packages for bunk only or bed and breakfast. Packed lunch and evening meal packages can also be arranged. The hostel is specifically tailored for mountain bikers cyclists walkers and outdoor enthusiasts with drying room for wet clothing wash-down area for kit secure bike storage and lockable cabinets for storage inside the bunk rooms. There are 3 separate rooms sleeping up to 20 people in total. The Tavistock Bunkhouse is sited in the converted outbuildings of the Union Pub. The convenient location in the grounds of the Union Pub means there’s also a relaxing venue to enjoy a drink and chat about your day. The pub is also able to offer breakfast and packed lunches. Tavistock Bunkhouse is located right next to the Devon Coast to Coast Cycle Route and close to the South West Coast Path. Tavistock is also a popular destination for walkers canoeists and other outdoor sport enthusiasts due to its proximity to the Dartmoor National Park.
